Found in Costa Rica and Panama in shady moist cloud forest at elevations of 1100 to 1500? meters as as warm growing epiphyte

CAUTION Said by many to be a synonym of Scaphosepalum anchoriferum and most likely is, but I can see many differences, may still be a synonym though as I have not personally disected the flowers.
