Common Name The White Lipped Scaphyglottis

Flower Size .4" [1 cm]

Found in Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama at elevations of 10 to 1500 meters as a small to just medium sized, hot to cool gerowing epiphyte with 3 to 4, superposed, narrowly fusiform pseduobulbs carrying 2, apical, narrow, linear leaves that blooms in the fall and winter on a terminal, short, 2 to 3 flowered inflorescence arising at the junction of the superposed pseudobulbs

Similar to Scaphyglottis prolifera but it has an ecallous disc of the lip and has 2 small stelidiar arms on the column about opposite the stigmatic cavity.
