Common Name Summers' Scaphyglottis

Found in Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Brazil and Bolivia at elevations around 800 meters in wet montane forests as a miniature to small sized, warm growing epiphyte with approximate to superposed, fusiform stems carrying 2 apical, linear-oblong, acuminate leaves that blooms in the spring and summer on a terminal, short, sub-umbellate, racemose inflorescence with 1 to 2 successive flowers at a time.
