Common Name The Golden Scaphyglottis

Found From Venezuela, Colombia and Ecuador at elevations of 1200 to 1800 meters as a miniature sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte with erect to pendant, in all directions, dark green brown, swollen, grooved with age, terete stems enveloped by grey, imbricate, tubular sheaths and carrying 2, linear, basally clasping, bilobed apically leaves that blooms in the spring on a fascile of single flowered inflorescence with the flower held close to the leaf base.
