Common Name The Sickle-Like Scaphyglottis
Flower Size .4" [1 cm]
Found in Costa Rica and Panama at elevations around 800 to 1300 meters as a medium sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with cylindric to fusiform, commonly stipitate, superposed pseudobulbs carrying 1 to 2, apical, linear, obtuse, usually bilobed apcially leaves that blooms in the winter and early spring on a fascile or much abbreviated racmose, apical, few flowered inflorescence arising at the apex of the segments of the stem.
