Common Name The Terete Scaphyglottis [refers to the leaves]

Found in Costa Rica in very wet, pluvial and cloud forests at elevations of 800 to 1900 meters as a small sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with subperposed, thin, pendent stems carrying subcylindrical, sulcate, acute leaves that blooms at most any ti,e of the year on a fasciculate, successively single flowered inflorescence arising from conduplicate, scarious, campanulate bracts.
