Common Name Coimbra's Scelochiloides [Bolivian Botanical Garden Direstor in Santa Cruz current]

Found in Santa Cruz Bolivia in wet montane forests at elevations of 1200 to 1400 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with subcylindrical, sulcate pseudobulbs enveloped basally by 2 sheaths and carrying a single, coriaceous, rigid, fleshy, linear, acute, gradually narropwing below into the conduplicate petiolate base leaf that blooms in the fall on a basal, suberect to curved, racemose to paniculate, 3.2 to 7.2" [8 to 18 cm] long, few flowered inflorescence.
