Found in Antioquia department of Colombia at elevations around 1600 meters as a miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with thin pseduobulbs carrying a single, apical, elliptic, acute leaf that blooms in the fall on a pendent, racemose, purple with fine white spots, to 4.8" [12 cm] long, to 15 flowered inflorescence.
