Found in Bolivia in wet montane cloud forests at elevations around 1820 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epipjhyte with ovoid pseduobulbs enveloped basally by short, imbricating sheaths and carrying a single, apical, elliptic, carinate, coriaceous, gradually narrowing below into the shortly petiolate base leaf that blooms in the summer on a basal, racemose, occasionally branching, to 3.2" [8 cm] long, few to 8 flowered inflorescence.
There are no calli on the lip of this oranger flowered mini-miniature species.
