Found in Bolivar Venezuela and Para Brazil at elevations around 375 meters as a miniature sized, hot growing epiphyte with short stems carrying 1 to 2, linear, rather soft, acute, basally narrowing into the base leaf that blooms in the late winter and spring on a basal, filiform, strong, suberect, peduncle to 2" [5 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence carrying a non-resupinate, not wide opening flower
