Found in Junin Peru as a small sized epiphyte with a short rhizome giving rise to clse set, cylindric pseduobulbs enveloped by several, unequal, oblong-lanceolate, acuminate sheaths and carrying fleshy-coriaceous, oblong-lanceolate to lanceolate-elliptic, shortly acuminate, narrowing below int o the short, sulcate, petiolate bse leaves that blooms on a lateral, basal, peduncle with several, long-acuminate, distant sheaths below, erect, distinctly longer than the leaves, simple to slightly branched, 9.8 to 12" [24 to 30 cm] long, rather loosely, several flowered inflorescence with linear-lanceolate, acuminate, concave floral bracts and carrying small, campanulate flowers.
