Common Name The Spurred Schizochilus

Found in the Chimanimani Mountains of Zimbabwe in montane grasslands at elevations of 1550 to 1600 meters as a small sized, cool growing terrestrial with about 7, linear to oblong, lowermost 3 to 4 semi-erect, becoming sheath to bract-like above leaves that blooms in the late spring on an erect, [2 to 3.5 cm] long, densely several flowered inflorescence with lanceolate, acuminate floral bracts and carrying bright yellow flowers.
