Found in Sumatra at elevations of 1000 to 1300 meters as a small sized, cool growing epiphyte with a stem carrying, linear, somewhat narrowed, obliquely bilobed apically with a short tooth in between leaves that blooms in the summer and fall on an axillary, erect, simply 3 branched, longer than the leaves, 3 to 4.6" [7.5 to 11.5 cm] long, flattened and swordlike, angled, several flowered inflorecence with acute floral bracts.
