Found in Antioquia Colombia in wet montane forests at elevations around 1700 meters as a small sized, cool growing epiphyte with conic-ovoid, sulcate pseudobulbs enveloped basally by broadly triangular, papery, dotted sheaths and carrying plicate, elliptic, gradually narrowing below into the long petiolate base leaves that blooms on a pendent, [2.5 to 4cm] long, to 10 flwoered inflorescence enveloped partially by papery, dooted, acute, broadly ovate bracts and cymbiform, punctate, acute floral bracts.
