Flower Size 5/8" [1.4 cm]

Found in Ecuador and Peru in hot tropical rainforests at elevations around 500 meters as a miniature to small sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with an egg shaped to elliptical pseudobulb enveloped partially by several distichous, imbricating leaf bearing sheaths and carrying a single, narrowly lanceolate, acute leaf that blooms in the spring on an axillary, erect, racemose, 7" [18 cm] long, several flowered inflorescence arising on a newly matured pseudobulb.
