Common Name Renato's Sigmatostalix [Sr Renato Villena Peruvian Orchid Enthusiast Current]

Found in the department of San Martin in Peru at elevations around 1500 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with closely sp[aced growths on a short rhizome and ovate, strongly laterally compressed, ancipitous pseduobulbs enveloped by several, distichous, overlapping, longitudinally folded, leafless below and leaf bearing above sheaths and carrying a single, thinly leathery, lanceolate, acute, narrwoing below into the conduplicate petiolate base leaf that blooms on an axillary, ascending then arching, 8" [to 20 cm] long inflroescence with 7 to 8, rather loosely spaced nodes from which the short branches arise, each branch is successively single flowered
