Found in northern Thailand in exposed limestone cliffs and crevasses in upper montane scrub at televations of 1800 to 2200 meters as a miniature to small sized, cold growing lithophyte with a singel, elliptic to obovate to broadly lanceolate leaf that blooms in the spring on an erect, 4 to 10.2" [10 to 25.5 cm] long, 2 to 17 flowered inflorescence with lanceolate-triangular, acute, 3 to 6 veined floral bracts.
