A medium to large sized, hot to warm growing terrestrial orchid found in Paraguay with an erect stem enveloped by leaf bearing sheaths carrying elliptic, obtuse, graduakky narrowing below into the broadly conduplicate, petiolate base leaves grading to leaf-like bracts above that blooms on an erect, terminal, densely many flowered inflorescence with linear, acute, longer than the flower floral bracts.
