Common Name Helfer's Smitinandia [Czech Orchid Collector and Botanist in Asia 1800's]
Flower Size 1/16" [.2 cm]
Found in the Andaman Island, Myanmar, penninsular Malaysia, Thailand, Laos and Vietnam as a miniature to small sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with a short stem carrying a few loriform, contracted and notched apically, close set leaves that blooms in the summer on a 3" [7.5 cm] long, descending, many flowered, racemose inflorescence with many successively opening flowers.
