Found in Tolima Colombia near Melgar at elevations around 700 meters as a medium sized, warm growing terrestrial with erect canes carrying 5 to 6 per stem, narrowly elliptic, subacute, emarginate, glabrous, 7 veined leaves that blooms in the late spring on a terminal, 3.6 to 4" [9 to 10 cm] long, successively single, several flowered inflorescence.
