Common Name The Small and Feeble Sobralia
Flower Size 3" [7.5 cm]
Found in Chiriqui province of Panama at elevations aro0und 1100 meters as a miniature to small sized, cool growing, cleistogamous epiphyte with erect, short stems carrying narrowly elliptic-lanceolate, acuminate leaves with striate, dark scurfy spotted sheaths that blooms in the summer with a few, narrowly lanceolate, striate with dark scurfy spotted floral bracts and 1 to 2 flowers that barely open if at all.
The Flowers when opened manually are white with orange yellow on the disc.
This species is one of the smallest of the Sobralia and has at best, feeble flower production
