Found in Huanuco department of Peru in montane wet forests on damp rocks at elevations around 750 meters as a large sized, warm growing caespitose terrestrial or lithophyte with erect leafy towards the apex stems carrying 4 to 8, elliptic-lanceolate, acuminate, plicate, rigid ribbed, basally clasping leaves that blooms in the late winter and spring on a terminal, sessile, successively single to 7 flowered inflorescence carrying ephemeral flowers with pale green sepals, amd the petals and the lip are yellowish white
