Common Name Stefania's Sobralia [Ms Archila Guatemalan Co collector of species current]

Flower Size 4.8" [12 cm]

Found in Alta Verapaz department of Guatemala at eleavtions around 1300 meters as a giant sized, cool growing terrestrial with erect, stout stems carrying elliptic, ovate, apically tridentate, plicate, 9 nerved, petiolate base leaves that blooms in the late fall and early winter on a terminal, short, successively single flowered inflorescence with globose, pubescent, brown floral bracts.
