Common Name Withner's Sobralia [American Orchid Enthusiast and Author Current]

Flower Size 3" [7.5 cm]

Found in Peru in tropical rainforests at elevations around 300 meters as a medium sized, hot to warm growing terrestrial with erect, unbranched, leafy stems enveloped below by loose, tubular, acuminate sheaths and carrying plicate, elliptic-lanceolate, acuminate, ribbed beneath, basally clasping leaves and blooms on a successively single flowered infloreasence carrying small flowers for the size of the plant.
