Found in Colombia and Ecuador as a medium sized terrestrial with an erect, remotely 3 to 4 sheathed above stem carrying subbasal to cauline, ovate to elliptic, acute to acuminate, petiolae base leaves that blooms on a terminal, erect, peduncle glabrous, rachis slightly pubescent, 1.6 to 2.4" [4 to 6 cm] long, subdensely many flowered inflorescence with ovate-lanceolate, acuminate, shorter than the ovary bracts.
