Common Name The 2 Colored Sophronitis
Flower Size 2.6" [6.5 cm]
Found in Espirito Santo state of Brazil in windy cloud forests at elevations of 1200 to 1525 meters as a miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with oblong pseudobulbs carrying a single, suberect, elliptic, acute, elongate petiolate base leaf that blooms in the late spring and again occassionally in the fall on a newly arising pseduobulb with a terminal, erect, to 4.4" [11 cm] long including the pedicel and ovary, single flowered inflorescence that is just longer than the leaf
