Common Name The Pygmy Sophronitis
Flower Size 3/4"+ [2 cm]
Found in Espirito Santo State of Brazil at elevations of 915 to 1067 meters as a miniature sized, cool to warm growing epiphyte in tropical rainforests of the Serra Do Mar with high humidity and medium light and temps of 45F to 85F and should never be allowed to completely dry out.
This species is also related to S coccinea along with S acuensis and is in the northern most range of Sophronitis.
