Found in Thailand, Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam as a small to medium sized, hot to warm growing terrestrial with subterranean, irregular pseudobulbs giving rise to 3, lanceolate, plicate, 5 nerved, gradually narrowing below into the petiolate base leaves that blooms in the later summer on a from the buried pseudobulb, erect, peduncle 13.2" [33 cm] long, rachis 6" [15 cm] long, to 12 flowered inflorecence
