Common Name Elmer's Spathoglottis [American Original Collector of Species early 1900's]

Flower Size 1 1/4" [3.1 cm]

Found in the Philippines on mosss covered boulders in damp forests in deep shade as a miniature sized, warm to cool growing terrestrial with ovoid pseudobulbs carrying deciduous, lanceolate, plicate leaves that blooms after leaf-fall on an erect, 6" [15 cm] long, few flowered inflorescence occuring in the spring
