Common Name Peter Veitch's Spathoglottis [English Nurseryman in 1800's]

Flower Size 5/8"

Found in New Caledonia and Vanuatu on open grassy slopes and periodicly burnt hillsides at elevations around 700 meters as a large sized, warm growing terrestrial with ovoid tpo globose pseduobulbs carrying 3 or so, plicate, erect, elliptic, acute leaves that blooms in the winter and spring on an erect, glabrous, to 36" [to 85 cm] long, 6 to 20 flowered inflorescence.
