Common Name The Clawed Spathoglottis

Flower Size .8 to 1.2" [2 to 3 cm]

Found in New Caledonia, Vanuatu, and Wallis & Futuna in grasslands and savannahs as medium to large sized, cool to warm growing terrestrial orchid with very long, plicate leaves and blooms at any time of the year on a basal, erect, successively many flowered inflorescence with the grape-scented flowers carried all towards the apex.
