Common Name Schlieben's Sphyrarhynchus [German Plant Collector East Africa 1900's]
Flower Size 1.2" [3 cm]
Found in Tanzania and Kenya in evergreen montane forests on twigs and small branches at elevations of 900 to 1600 meters as a miiniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with a short stem carrying 3 to 5, linear to elliptic, unequally and obtusely bilobed apically, fleshy, conduplicate and basally clasping below leaves that blooms in the spring on to several, 2" +[2.5 cm +] long, axillary, densely 6 to 10 flowered inflorescence carrying variable sized, glistening, white with green flowers
