Found in New South Wales Australia in higher montane and subalpine areas in moist grassy areas as a miniature sized terrestrial that blooms in the late spring and earlier summer on an erect, 3" [7.5 cm] long, many flowered inflorescence carrying color variable, fragrant flowers that spiral around the spike
CAUTION I have no way of personally identifying this determination so please use with caution! Most likely this species is a synonym of Spiranthes australis
