Common Name The Hong Kong Spiranthes - In China Xiang Gang Shou Cao

Found in Hong Kong on open moist to dry hillsides, grasslands and meadows at elevations of 800 to 900 meters as a miniature sized, warm growing epiphtye with 2 to 6, erect, spreading, linear to oblanceolate, acute leaves that blooms in the spring on an erect, 4 to 18" [10 to 45 cm] long, rachis decoming densely gladular pubescent distally, spirally arranged, many flowered inflorescence with lanceolate, sparsely glandular pubescent, acuminate, floral bracts.
