Common Name Maduro's Stanhopea [Panamanian Orchid Enthusiast current]

A rare species found in Panama and Colombia without collection data as a medium sized, warm gowing epiphyte with oval, strongly ribbed and furrowed with age pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, coarse & Leathery, lanceoalte, plicate, acute, gradually narrowing below into the channeled, petiolate base leaf that blooms in the early summer on a pendant, basal, to 6" [15 cm] long, 2 to 3 flowered inflorescence enveloped by large, inflated, triangular, acute chartacheous bracts .
