Found in Thailand and Vietnam in primary broad-leaved evergreen montane forests at elevations around 1500 meters as a medium sized, cool growing epiphyte with strong, upward curving stems carrying 2 ranked, strap shaped, unequally bilobed leaves that blooms in the late winter and earlier spring on an axillary, everal flowered inflorescence
