Common Name The Small Shoe-Shaped Stelis

Flower Size .2" [5 mm]

Found in Cundinamarca department of Colombia at elevations around 1500 meters as a small sized, cool growing epiphyte with erect, close set ramicauls enveloped by 3 tubular sheaths andcarrying a single, apical, narrowly elliptic-oblong, coriaceous, obtuse and tridenticulate apically, narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms on an erect to slightly flexuous, to 8" [to 20 cm] long, racemose, distichous, densly many flowered inflorescence arising through a cucullate spathe with obliquely infundibular, acuminate floral bracts that cover only a portion of the ovary.
