Common Name The Similar Stelis

Found in Puno Province of Peru at elevations around 2500 meters as a small sized, cold growing epiphyte with crowded, short stems enveloped by 3, close tubular sheaths and carrying a single, more or less erect, acute, narrowly ellipitc, to oblong-lanceolate, gradually narrowing below into the indistinct petiolate base leaf that blooms on 1 to 3, erect to suberect, much longer than the leaf, to 4" [10 cm] long, densely many flowered inflorescence with small, shallowly infundibuliform floral bracts and carrying very small, dull yellow, glabrous flowers.
