Common Name The White Stelis [refers to the flower color]

Found in Venezuela and Colombia in cloud forests at elevations around 2100 to 2400 meters as a miniature sized, cold growing epiphyte with slender, erect ramicauls with 2 close fitting tubular sheaths and carrying a single, erect, coriaceous, elliptical, subacute to obtuse, cuneate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms on an apical, erect, dense, to 4" [10 cm] long, many flowered inflorescence with large floral bracts with expanded flaring apices.
