Found in Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and Panama at elevations around 1050 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with erect, slender ramicauls enveloped by 2 to 3 sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, oblong-ligulate, obtuse, narrowly cuneate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the fall on a distichous, erect, subdense short to .6” [1.5 cm] long with a very short peduncle, many flowered inflorescence with ovate, acuminate floral bracts
