Found in Costa Rica in humid forests at elevations around 1250 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm growing, caespitose epiphyte with erect, slender ramicauls enveloped by 2 to 3 sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, elliptic, obtuse, gradually narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms on an, erect, secund, 2” [5 cm] long including the short peduncle, sublax, several flowered inflorescence with ovate-cucullate, apiculate slightly longer than the ovary floral bracts.
