Common Name The Bell Carrying Stelis [refers to the petal shape]

Found in Paucartambo Province of Peru and Bolivia at elevations around 3000 meters as a small sized, cold growing epiphyte with crowded, slender stems enveloped by 2 to 3, close tubular sheaths and carrying a single, more or less erect, acute, narrowly ellipitc, acute, cuneate and chartaceous below into the long petiolate base leaf that blooms on 2, erect to suberect, more or less shorter than the leaf, to 3.44" [8.6 cm] long, rather loosely several to many flowered inflorescence with small, infundibuliform floral bracts and carrying very small, yellow, glabrous flowers.
Similar to S mononeura but the lip is not as distinctly trilobed.
