Found in Panama at elevations below 1000 meters as a small sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with erect, slender ramicauls and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, oblanceolate-ligulate, obtuse, narrowly cuneate below into the short petiolate base leaf that blooms on an erect, thin, secund, 4.4 to 5.6” [11 to 14 cm]long including the 2” [5 cm] long peduncle, laxly, mostly simultaneously many flowered inflorescence with ovate-cucullate floral bracts.
