Flower Size 1/2" + [1.25 cm+]
Found in Panama, Ecuador and Bolivia at elevations of 300 to 950 meters as a small to medium sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte with a single, leathery, elliptic to elliptic-oval, acute or obtuse leaf that has a basal short petiole and blooms on a 12" [30 cm] long, often multiple inflorescence that has flowers down to the base and has large cucullate sheaths and infundibuliform bracts that blooms at any time of the year but mostly in the spring with the largest, nodding flowers of the genus.
