Common Name or Meaning The In Between Stelis

Flower Size 1/16" [0.15 cm]

Found in Venezuela, Minas Gerais state of Brazil in the Mantiqueira Rain Forest Mountains as well as Huanuco and Junin departments of Peru at elevations of 1000 to 1700 meters as a miniature to small sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with densely fascicled stems enveloped basally by 2 to 3 long, tubular sheaths and carry a single, apical, elliptic-linear or linear-lanceolate, obtuse with a minute tridenticulate apex leaf that is long and attenuate below that blooms in the early winter in situ on a solitary, to 7 1/4" [to 18 cm] long, many flowered, arcuate or flexuous and very slender inflorescence with very minute flowers.

This determination is OK. Said to be synomonous with S drosophila by Kew but Foldats separates and I concur at this time. If they are synomonous S intermedia takes precedence.
