Found in Costa Rica at elevations around 1125 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing, caespitose epiphyte with erect ramicauls enveloped by 2 tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, elliptical, subacute, tridenticulate, cuneate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the fall on an erect, slender, secund, sublax, to 2" [to 5 cm] long including the peduncle, to 8 flowered inflorescence with ovate-cucullate, acuminate floral bracts.
