Common Name Schenck's Stelis [brazilian orchid Enthusiast and collector died 1927]

Found in Sao Paulo state of Brazil as a miniature to small sized, caespitose epiphyte with approximate, erect, flexuous ramicauls enveloped by 2 to 3 sheaths and carryiung a single, apical, erect, coricaceous, elliptic-ligulate, obtuse, cuneate below into the petioalate base leaf that blooms on an erect, peduncel 1.4" [3.5 cm] long, rachis 4.8 to 6.6" [13 to 16 cm] long, laxly, mostly simultaneously many flowered inflorescence with cucullate acuminate, almost as long as the pedicel floral bracts and carrying greenish, glabrous flowers.
