Common Name Tweed's Stelis

Found in Santa Catarina state of southern Brazil on trees as a miniature sized, cool growing caespitose epiphyte with robust, erect to ascending, slightly flexuous, fasciculate ramicauls carrying somewhat shorter to equal in length to the ramicauls, oblong, obtuse and minutely tridenticulate, attenuate below into the shortly petiolate, deeply canaliculate base leaf that blooms on a single, arising through a basal, linear-lanceolate spathe erect, slightly flexuous, thin, slightly compressed, 4 to 5.6" [10 to 14 cm] long, shorter that the ovary floral bracts and carrying greenish yellow flowers.
