Found in Peru as a miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with a fan of distichous, imbricate, leaf-bearing sheaths carrying oblanceolate, acute, attenuate to the conduplicate, subpetiolate base leaves that blooms in the spring on a short, axillary, terete, 2 3/4" [to 7 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence with a single lanceolate bract near the middle and a subsimilar floral bract.
