Common Name Lamri's Stigmatodactylus [Indonesian Director of Sabah National Parks current]

Found in Sabah Borneo in lower montane mossy forests at elevations around 1500 to 2000 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing terrestrial with tuber giving rise to an angular, weak stem carrying a single, apical, cordate, apiculate, irregular margined, thin textured leaf that blooms in the winter on an erect, peduncle [1.8 to 3 cm] long, naked, rachis [.5 to 2 cm] long, angular, fractiflex, successively 2 to 7 flowered inflorescence with ovate, mucronate, spreading floral bracts and carryinga flower with green tepals, a transparent green lipwith a brownish purple center and a dark purple basal callus.
CAUTION The plant photo is an aberrent non-flowering specimen. It must have been broken in youth and so put up a split stem, this is not normal.
